This Mylec Mini Goal didn’t come in with as many high quality reviews as did the STX mini goal set did that I described above, but I still feel this Mylec Goal could be a lot of fun. It’s only 30 bucks, assembles in seconds, and from the customers who did leave a review on this mini-goal, they seemed to enjoy the lacrosse mini goals for it’s recreational purpose.

#3. Brine Lacrosse Mini Lacrosse Set

For younger laxers everywhere, this set from Brine is designed for both indoor and outdoor use. It comes with a mini goalie stick, two mini sticks, two mini balls, a goal and a net. The size is ideal for young kids who are just beginning to learn the game. The set is fairly light weighing about 12 pounds which makes it easy to assemble and move. It is fairly priced and is perfectly sized to fit in almost any spaces.

Pros

  • The set is easy to put together as it only weighs 12 pounds.
  • Quality and sturdy goal with excellent goalie sticks that can withstand regular shooting practice
  • Well branded equipment. Makes it look classy.
  • Light weight. The set can be easily moved conveniently by one person. It is light enough to be moved and just the right weight for outdoor setups too. The balls are lighter and softer than the usual lacrosse balls which ensures that they cannot cause damage to other indoor accessories during practice. This means that it is also safe to practice around other younger siblings.
  • The mini sticks have plastic handles that make them light and child-friendly.
  • Fairly priced as a great starter kit for the young ones.
  • The color is attractive and perfect for kids.

Potential Drawbacks / Concerns

  • The handles on the sticks easily break after a short while and one has to purchase an extra set of sticks separately. They are not suitable for much older children because they are more aggressive. It is more useful for children under 10years.
  • The goalie stick does not come with a screw to hold the head steady in position. It often comes off.
